The reel is a vitally important accessory for those that hunt big fish or at depth. Following the same line as our other accessories, we have opted for making a robust reel with great capacity and a sensitive drag.

Its base is made from AISI 304 stainless steel and the spool itself made from Moplem plastic with a density less than 1g/cm3 in order to control the buoyancy. The rest of the pieces that make up the reel are made from hydrophobic PVC.

In the reel base there are two M5 sized holes with 57mm for mounting the reel on the gun. The base also has four lateral wings which can be mounted on cylindrical or oval barrels. The spool has a diameter of 100mm and a capacity of around 90m of 1,5mm line. The drag allows for an automatic release of the spool or for a fixed amount of drag to be set, depending on how the reel is mounted. The reel comes set for automatic release of the spool. This will release but designed for their to always be a little bit of resistance to avoid the spool over revving and tangling if a sharp tug is made to the reel.

To alter the drag, all we have to do is remove the stainless washer beneath the drag setting screw. In this manner the drag can be preset and it will not release even if the line is pulled.
